Your Role:
The Community HIV Tester will play a crucial role in engaging individuals within diverse communities to promote awareness and provide testing for HIV, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), and Hepatitis C.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver comprehensive programs and workshops focused on HIV, STIs, and HCV prevention, utilizing effective strategies tailored for communities at higher risk, particularly individuals of color.
2. Enhance testing and screening services to ensure a greater number of individuals are aware of their HIV, STI, and HCV status.
3. Collaborate with the Manager of HIV Prevention Programs to connect individuals diagnosed with HIV/STIs/HCV to high-quality medical care and prevention services.
4. Facilitate access to prevention services such as PrEP, PEP, and Case Management for individuals at risk.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; a degree is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in presenting and facilitating workshops.
- Strong communication skills to engage with diverse populations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for outreach activities.
- Knowledge of HIV, STIs, and HCV prevention methods.
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills.
- Commitment to understanding and addressing racial inequities in health care.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required, with a language assessment as part of the interview process.
