About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Technician to join our team at Silver Creek Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physical therapists in delivering high-quality treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Maintenance
    • Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following established protocols and procedures.
    • Ensure a clean and safe environment by maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Patient Care and Support
    • Prepare patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming and comforting them, and assisting them into physical therapy apparel.
    • Provide information to patients by answering questions and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Assist patients with exercises and strengthening techniques as requested by physical therapists.
  • Administrative and Support Tasks
    • Record daily notes and maintain accurate records under the supervision of physical therapists.
    • Provide equipment and supplies to physical therapists as needed.
    • Ensure the operation of physical therapy equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field preferred.
    • Prior experience in customer service and physical therapy settings is highly desirable.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
Working Conditions

This role requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and stretching. The ability to lift and move equipment and supplies is also necessary. Normal range of hearing and eyesight is required to record, prepare, and present reports.
