Job Summary:

Omni Hotels is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms, public areas, back of house, and landings to meet Omni four-star/four-diamond standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and Ensure Quality: Conduct regular inspections of guestrooms and public areas to ensure they meet Omni's high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Assign and Manage Tasks: Assign special projects and tasks to Housekeeping staff as directed by the Director of Housekeeping, and ensure they are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Report and Resolve Issues: Report any needed repairs or discrepancies in guestrooms to the maintenance team, and ensure that all issues are resolved promptly.
  • Supply and Linen Management: Ensure that all Housekeeping staff have access to necessary supplies and linens, and that linen closets and supply cages are well-stocked and organized.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with Housekeeping staff, management, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest service.
  • Guest Room Management: Ensure that all guest rooms are cleaned and prepared for occupancy, and that VIP rooms are inspected and prepared promptly.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and hotel assets.

Requirements:

  • Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and manage a team to achieve high standards of quality and productivity.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and other departments.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, push or pull a minimum of 75 pounds, and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, and to be available to work as needed.
