Job Description

The role of Lead Financial Operations Manager involves overseeing the organization's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.

Our client is a leading Commercial Construction Management company with over 50 years of experience in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger activities.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist with annual budgeting, providing forecasts and variance analysis to support financial planning.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Support the CFO with periodic financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
  • Maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risk.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 7+ years of experience in accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (CMIC) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
