Job Summary

In this rewarding role, you will work with vulnerable individuals who have experienced intimate partner violence, providing them with the support they need to rebuild their lives. As a Safe Homes Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of our clients, developing personalized service plans, and coordinating with internal and external service providers to ensure they receive comprehensive care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position based at our Admin Building, operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. However, we offer a hybrid schedule, with three days in the office and two days working from home or in the community. Travel within Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Prince George's County, and Montgomery County may be required up to 30% of the time.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 20-25 participants enrolled in our rapid re-housing project, providing culturally sensitive coordination of services.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop comprehensive service plans, and coordinate with internal and external service providers.
  • Provide three months of follow-up support after the rental assistance period ends.
  • Assess safety needs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with community partners to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate case files and assist in compiling necessary data for grant reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Two years of paid or volunteer experience providing counseling, case management, or victim-centered advocacy.
  • An Associate degree in a Human Services field may substitute for one year of experience.
  • Excellent oral and written fluency in English.
  • Strong ability to relate to a diverse range of individuals, including victims, children, donors, business leaders, human service providers, and donors.
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and timelines.
  • A clean driving record, current state driver's license, and reliable personal transportation.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Salary Information

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $55,000 - $62,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
