Position Overview
The Clinical Quality Specialist is a clinical leader who functions across service lines and locations as part of the management team and collaborates with compliance and nursing services. Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with service line leaders to facilitate clinical and administrative duties related to clinical staff workflows.
- Performing clinical education, quality assessment, and improvement initiatives across various specialties.
- Ensuring clinical practice standards align with WakeMed policies and procedures, standards of care, approved protocols, and standing orders.
- Ensuring compliance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing and other applicable regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Not applicable for licensure/certification requirements.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
- No weekend requirements.
- No call requirements.
