Position Overview

The Clinical Quality Specialist is a clinical leader who functions across service lines and locations as part of the management team and collaborates with compliance and nursing services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with service line leaders to facilitate clinical and administrative duties related to clinical staff workflows.
  • Performing clinical education, quality assessment, and improvement initiatives across various specialties.
  • Ensuring clinical practice standards align with WakeMed policies and procedures, standards of care, approved protocols, and standing orders.
  • Ensuring compliance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing and other applicable regulatory agencies.

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Not applicable for licensure/certification requirements.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
  • No weekend requirements.
  • No call requirements.
