Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Laboratory Technician within our advanced greenhouse and tissue culture facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and prepare the greenhouse environment for planting activities.
  • Transfer potato plantlets from their growing medium into hydroponic trays.
  • Assist in operations within the tissue culture laboratory.
Qualifications and Skills:

This position offers flexible hours, with opportunities ranging from part-time to full-time based on seasonal demands.

  • Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's License.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
  • Dependability and responsibility are essential traits.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and maintain prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of horticulture is advantageous.
