Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify damage and plan efficient repair processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate vehicle repair status updates.
  • Perform high-quality repairs while maintaining on-time delivery expectations.
  • Make informed decisions regarding repair versus replacement, considering factors such as safety, cost, and cycle time.
  • Remove and replace vehicle components, including upholstery, accessories, and trim, to access damaged areas.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment.
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
  • Supervise and mentor junior technicians as needed, providing guidance and support to ensure successful task completion.
Requirements
  • Certification in body repair is preferred.
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and manufacturer-specific requirements.
  • I-CAR welding certification.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data.
  • Supervisory experience and ability to lead repair personnel.
  • Pass a thorough background check.
