Duties and Responsibilities- Collect, interpret, and record relevant patient data to inform nursing care.
- Perform thorough patient assessments to identify individual needs.
- Develop and implement personalized nursing care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct post-procedure evaluations to assess patient response and adjust care plans as needed.
- Provide direct patient care during procedures, addressing physical and emotional needs.
- Continuously evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions and modify care plans accordingly.
- Participate in the maintenance and decontamination of endoscopes and specialized equipment, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Contribute to departmental functions, including training, statistics, quality assurance, education, and staff meetings.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing with 2-4 years of experience or an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing with 3-5 years of experience.
- A current New York State RN license in good standing.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
This role demands manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to stand, sit, and walk. Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 10 pounds may be required, along with normal visual acuity and hearing.
