- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments.
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
- Verify program logic with good quality test data, unit testing and debugging of programs.
- Participate in overall systems testing. Help in the migration of applications to production.
- Help with new documentation, participate in the development of department technical procedures and user guides.
- Help in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.
- Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversee updating and testing of the business continuation plan.

Requirements:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 2+ Experience using NICE Actimize Case Management solution development (ActOne / RCM).
- 1+ years of hands on experience of ActOne/RCM Java plugin development.
- 4+ years of SQL.
- 2+ year of experience writing code in Java application and knowledge of Java memory model.
- 2 + years of experience in 12-factor and Cloud Native patterns.
- 1+ years of cloud experience such as AWS, Azure, PCF etc.
- 2+ years of experience with Test Frameworks, Capabilities & Tools: such as Junit, TestNG, Selenium, Test Driven Development (TDD); Behavioral Driven Development (BDD): Cucumber/Gherkin.
- 2+ years of enterprise experience with CI/CD implementation, configuration management and orchestration tools: Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GitHub Actions.
- 2+ years of experience with database platforms like Mongo, Oracle DB, SQL Server, etc.
- 2+ years of experience in Kafka.
- 2+ years working in an Agile environment.

Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to translate complex technical needs into straightforward requests for information and collaboration, working with a wide range of people.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and robust analytical background.
- Must have the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
- Must be able to interface with line of business (Product Owner) and technical staff.

About the Role:
This is a contingent resource assignment, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. They will review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. The candidate will contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. They will strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- Professional Engineer (4 years of experience is required).
- Actimize Case Manager/ActOne (4 years of experience is required).
- Java Plugin Development (2 years of experience is required).
- SQL.
- Cloud.
- Java.
