Ecolab is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team. This position is focused on ensuring the highest quality standards in manufacturing plants, with a strong emphasis on process improvement and continuous quality enhancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports Quality Initiatives: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement action plans to solve quality-related problems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and RC 14000 certification standards.
  • Quality Data Analysis: Analyze data from adjustment/resample and FPF to identify areas for process improvement, and perform quality assurance tests and procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Lab Operations: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment, adhering to good laboratory practices and ensuring accurate recording and filing of raw test data.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate results and disposition to manufacturing and shipping teams, and work closely with the quality team leader to prepare lab standard test reagents and perform maintenance on instruments and equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Quality Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports to the quality manager, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience: Strong laboratory background in organic and/or analytical chemistry, with experience in data analysis and trending.
  • Skills: Ability to lead, ISO 9001 knowledge, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience working in a chemical plant, with knowledge of FTIR and GC instrumentation.
  • Continuous improvement experience, with knowledge of Oxyalklyation Chemistry.
