About the Role

The Customer Trust External Relations (CTXR) organization at Amazon is dedicated to ensuring a positive public perception of our trustworthy shopping experience. As a Business Analyst in this team, you will play a crucial role in identifying risk and quantifying impact using data and insights. Your innovative thinking, ability to approach complex problems, and technical expertise will be essential in rapidly researching, validating, visualizing, prototyping, and delivering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee business reporting and analytics to influence strategic decision-making and planning

Manage the rhythm of business deliverables through building and planning, forecasting, and reporting models

Generate actionable insights through the development of metrics, dashboards, and deep dive analyses

Communicate data in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner to influence critical business decisions

Define reporting requirements and independently manage timelines for recurring and ad-hoc deliverables

About the Team

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of experience with Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

Experience with SQL and making business recommendations to influence stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in business or analytical discipline

Experience partnering with executive-level leaders to identify and solve business issues

Experience leading LEAN or Six Sigma process improvement programs

Superior attention to detail and strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
