Job Summary

Essential Job Functions
  • Physically move and lift items or materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Receive, inspect, verify, stage, and organize all materials.
  • Verify material descriptions, quantity, and quality against vendor documentation and company purchase orders.
  • Properly secure, load, and unload incoming/outgoing materials and equipment.
  • Manage and track material, equipment, and tool inventories.
  • Inspect quality of materials and tools upon receipt and before issuing.
  • Identify and report shortages and damaged materials and tools.
  • Ensure warehouse/storage areas are safe, clean, and in order.
  • Operate material handling equipment and use small hand tools.
Required Minimum Qualifications
  • Current and valid Commercial Driver's License - Class A endorsement.
  • DOT Medical Certificate.
  • Ability to pass a competency test for the operation of a Telehandler and a Skid Steer.
  • Previous experience as a Materials Handler (preferred).
  • Current OSHS 10 and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) certificates or ability to obtain upon hire.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
  • Ability to be a self-starter.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge in conducting inventory checks.
  • Good understanding of materials handling, logistics, and inventory functions.
  • General computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn receiving and inventory programs.
  • Knowledge of proper handling of materials and equipment use conducive to conditions and its use.
  • Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and Safety Regulations and industry practices related to materials and equipment use and operation.
  • Ability to use time efficiently to complete projects on time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle stress and possess a positive attitude in difficult or challenging situations.
