About the Role

PennState Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in a per diem / prn capacity. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing routine and special mammography procedures with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Ensure high-quality images are obtained and processed for diagnostic purposes
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mammography techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and registered or registry eligible in Mammography
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
