The Senior Fullstack Software Engineer will play a pivotal role in establishing methodologies and frameworks that support the cyber risk assessment lifecycle.

This team is dedicated to providing capabilities that assist clients with the swift design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and operation of specific software and hardware solutions to address current Cyber Defensive requirements.

As a Senior Developer on this initiative, you will be responsible for implementing new functionalities within a crucial line of business application that facilitates mission assurance and operational management tasks.

You will have the chance to enhance your expertise while collaborating with a team of software engineering and cybersecurity professionals, addressing the cyber defense challenges faced by modern military operations through innovative and creative solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
- Develop or modify software applications based on requirements specifications.
- Design, code, benchmark test, debug, and document application features and modifications.
- Review and evaluate existing enterprise applications to support new features, performance enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
- Engage in performance, load, and stress testing, addressing any identified issues.
- Participate in security architecture assessments of large enterprise systems.
- Contribute to the development of new systems throughout the entire application lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Assist in activities that ensure the effective use of these systems, including the creation of documentation, test scripts, and training materials.
- Collaborate in an agile team environment, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, and daily standups.

Compensation:
$70-95/hour

Exact compensation may vary based on various factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will commence on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and access to a 401k retirement account with employer matching.

Employees in this position are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as mandated by applicable law.

Required Qualifications:
- Top Secret Clearance

Certifications:
- One of the following: Security+, CISSP, CASP+, CISA
- 10+ years of experience with .NET Core, C#, Angular 2 or higher, Typescript, SQL Server or other relational databases.
- 5+ years of experience in Agile software development and microservice architecture.

- Proven experience in designing, implementing, supporting, and analyzing enterprise-scale applications.
- Proficiency with modern development tools, including Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, git, unit testing frameworks, and task tracking systems such as GitLab.
- Experience in designing, implementing, supporting, and analyzing enterprise-scale applications that perform extract/transform/load (ETL) operations with external data sources and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with distributed version control systems such as git and mercurial.

Comprehensive knowledge in defining and managing software requirements, design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, software development lifecycle, architecture, and documentation.

Experience with at least one of the following Object-oriented programming (OOP) languages: C, Java, or Python.
