We are seeking a skilled Floor Tech to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet, including dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting.
- Collect trash, recycling, and soiled linen from units and dispose of them properly.
- Utilize protective gear and follow safety precautions when mixing and using cleaning solutions.
- Report equipment and cleaning product needs or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely manner.
- Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
- Utilize leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
- Must live in the service area.
