We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiopulmonary Department. This role involves delivering direct patient care, assessing and preparing patients for various cardiac procedures such as stress tests, echocardiograms, and EKGs. The RN will play a crucial role in monitoring patients during these procedures and ensuring their safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Cardiopulmonary Department.
- Evaluate and educate patients regarding their procedures and health conditions.
- Assist in performing diagnostic tests and monitor patients' responses.
- Administer medications as prescribed by the attending physician.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient status and any changes in condition.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Connecticut.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- A minimum of two years of recent experience in critical care or cardiac nursing.
Work Schedule:
Per Diem, with variable shifts of 8 hours.

Compensation:
$55.00 per hour
