Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Sharon, CT. As a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to fill a 13-week contract position in our Progressive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in step-down and intermediate care nursing, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various medical procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Current RN licensure in the state of CT.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a step-down or intermediate care setting.
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
