Job Summary

The Regional Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the activities of housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance departments to ensure environmental center compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and building codes.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance departments.
  • Ensure environmental center compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and building codes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase maintenance activity and ensure goals are attained.
  • Formulate cost proposals and develop realistic and accurate planning for construction projects.
  • Serve as key point of contact with facility leadership to create effective business relationships.
  • Coordinate the implementation interface with project management and facility teams.
  • Maintain proficient and current computer and software application skills for team members.
  • Supervise all Environmental Services personnel and daily work in assigned areas throughout the region.
  • Execute the Company's preventive maintenance program and record keeping systems.
  • Work with facility teams regarding environmental services requests, infection prevention, service resolution opportunities, and other interdepartmental matters.
  • Provide 24-hour 'on-call' service to the nursing center in case of emergency.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, department head meetings, and other center meetings.
Requirements
  • High School diploma, required.
  • Five years of supervisory experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of maintenance procedures.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred.
  • HVAC Certification.
