Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to our patients, helping them to overcome communication and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients, using a variety of techniques and strategies to improve their communication and swallowing skills.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest speech therapy techniques and best practices.
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent.
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Florida.
- At least two years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a home healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
