Health Services Overview

The Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District is seeking a skilled healthcare professional to join our team as a Registered Nurse. This role is responsible for providing direct health services to students, promoting health education and preventive health practices, and serving as a health advocate for students.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive program of health services for the school
* Provide direct health services to students, including health screenings and assessments
* Promote health education and preventive health practices for students
* Serve as a health advocate for students

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program
* Valid registered nurse license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas
* Certified in CPR, audiometric, and vision screening
* Must have a car, driver's license, and liability insurance

Preferred Qualifications:

* Two years of Registered Nurse experience, preferably in school/community health
* New graduate registered nurse with experience in school health utilizing other credentials

Work Schedule:

* 187 work days

Salary:

* Minimum - $52,386

Note: The salary listed is the minimum salary for this position. The actual salary may be higher based on experience and qualifications.
