About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Millbrae Elementary School District. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in facilitating speech and language acquisition and development in students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and special education staff to develop goals and instructional strategies that support academic achievement.
  • Provide resources and support to help students find their unique voices and develop social relationships through language.
  • Work closely with colleagues to foster a culture of respectful, open communication that promotes creativity, welcomes new ideas, and acknowledges individual talents and contributions.
Requirements
  • California State License in Speech Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (desirable)
  • Strong case management and IEP skills
  • Experience working with TK-8th grade student populations
  • Knowledge of SEIS or other computer-based IEP programs
