Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Millbrae, California.

Job Description:

As a Speech Therapist Level II, you will be responsible for providing diagnosis and treatment of complex communication disorders for adults and children. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, and oversee the work of entry-level staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and administer diagnostic tests to identify communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, and advise physicians and caregivers on test results.
  • Collaborate with physicians to modify treatment plans as needed, and provide training for junior therapists.
  • Develop and maintain department policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California).
  • National Provider Identifier.
  • Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
