We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Patient Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Prelude Fertility. As a key member of our New Patient Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling of new patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Patient Scheduling: Work closely with patients to ensure completion of their medical history, required consent forms, and required payments.
  • Verify Patient Information: Utilize online resources and communicate with patients to ensure accuracy of information.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Communicate with internal New Patient Services staff and external practices to resolve any issues related to demographic information.
  • Update Patient Records: Review and update demographic and insurance information in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Support Business Initiatives: Participate in initiatives designed to improve individual and organizational performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of work experience in a similar or related position or other office environment is strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Superior organizational and time management skills, reliability, adaptability, and dependability with consistency in attendance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Healthcare Knowledge: Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance policy (i.e., HIPAA).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly around complex issues.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills, including spreadsheets, word documents, and email.
