Women's Health Specialist

**About the Role:**
We are seeking a skilled Obstetrician and Gynecologist to join our team at Unified Women's Healthcare, LP. As a Women's Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to patients in our Farmington, CT, and Bloomfield, CT locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough physical examinations and compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
- Order or perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, and basic wound care.
- Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, follow hospitalized patients as appropriate, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A minimum of experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health is required.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN.
- Active Connecticut medical license.
- Federal and state controlled substance licenses.
- BLS certification.
- Eligibility for hospital privileges.
- Excellent communication, listening, and customer service skills.
