- Input all operational parameters such as speed, dimensions, and configurations into the machine before initiating production.
- Load all necessary materials into designated sections of the machine to optimize production efficiency.
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all machinery within the department.
- Execute preventative maintenance on assigned equipment as outlined by manufacturers.
- Diagnose any mechanical issues as required and identify actual faults.
- Ensure the department operates smoothly around the clock.
- Manage inventory of parts to maintain equipment in optimal condition.
- Address any equipment malfunctions promptly and thoroughly.
- Ensure that repairs are conducted accurately.
- Consistently adhere to client specifications and maintain high-quality standards.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
- Guarantee timely preparation and availability of all production materials to prevent shortages during operations.
- May be required to carry a communication device and be available for emergency callbacks.
- Exhibit self-management and professionalism in all assigned responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness in designated work areas at all times.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Clean machine components after each work cycle.
SUCCESS FACTORS/JOB COMPETENCIES:
Possessing prior mechanical experience is advantageous.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be capable of learning and executing all scheduled job procedures independently to ensure the assigned role operates continuously.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be physically able to maintain an upright, walking position for extended shifts. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Maintain cleanliness in the work area and on machinery. Wear required personal protective equipment at all times and comply with all safety regulations.
