We proudly serve over 5,000 clients across various markets, including grain, agronomy, feed, energy, and building supplies, with multiple locations throughout the region.

Key Objectives: The internship aims to equip participants with practical experience in various facets of agricultural business operations while contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our services.

Internship Responsibilities:

  • Gain experience in operating facilities for crop nutrient and protection, including the use of work orders and field maps.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities.
  • Learn distribution processes for farm supply products and dispatching techniques.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and implement inventory control measures.
  • Participate in custom application practices and precision technology in agronomy.
  • Engage in crop scouting alongside experienced advisors.
  • Support marketing initiatives for Innovative Advanced Solutions.
  • Contribute to precision agriculture technology installations.
  • Involve in grain facility operations, including receiving and blending procedures.
  • Conduct grain sampling and grading according to industry standards.
  • Understand grain origination and merchandising processes.
  • Gain experience in counter sales and store operations.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols in all tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement or a seasonal CDL; must meet insurance guidelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and ability to meet deadlines.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing at least 50 pounds, with flexibility for various physical tasks.
  • Willingness to work in an agricultural environment, which may include exposure to seasonal weather and agricultural products.
  • Personal Protective Equipment may be necessary for certain tasks.
