Job Summary

ProMedica is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Arden Courts Memory Care in Wilmington. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, as well as supervising and mentoring our caregivers.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
  • Supervise and mentor caregivers to ensure they are providing the highest level of care.
  • Coordinate care delivery with other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the care we provide.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in gerontological nursing.
  • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 20 pounds, unassisted.
