Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist for weekend night shifts at Grand Strand Medical Center. This role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus contingent upon a 2-year commitment.

In this position, you will work under the guidance of the medical imaging management team, playing a crucial role in enhancing patient care through your expertise in diagnostic imaging, scheduling, patient transport, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring accurate image verification and preparing the examination room with necessary tools and supplies.
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality CT scans that deliver accurate diagnostic information.
  • Conduct CT examinations on various body parts efficiently.
  • Complete necessary documentation including history forms and technologist exam sheets.
  • Administer IVs and perform lab checks as required.


Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiography program is required.
  • RT certification from ARRT is mandatory.
  • CT certification from ARRT is preferred.
  • SCRQSA certification is required for South Carolina.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology and CT Technologist is highly preferred.
