Position Overview

We are seeking a mixed shift CT Technologist at Grand Strand Medical Center. This role is eligible for a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus with a 2-year commitment. Shift: 11a-11p Friday-Sunday

In this position, you will work under the guidance of the medical imaging management team, playing a crucial role in enhancing patient care through your expertise in diagnostic imaging, scheduling, patient transport, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate diagnostic equipment, verify imaging results, and prepare the examination room with necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure the provision of accurate diagnostic information through the production of high-quality CT scans.
  • Perform CT examinations on various body parts efficiently.
  • Complete relevant history forms and technologist exam sheets.
  • Initiate I.V.s and check laboratory results as required.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiography program is required.
  • RT certification from ARRT is required.
  • CT certification from ARRT is preferred.
  • South Carolina: SCRQSA is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology and CT Technologist is highly preferred.
