We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant. This full-time position involves working in a school-based setting, providing comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
- Develop and Implement IEPs: Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.
- Provide Direct Therapy Services: Deliver direct therapy services to students, tracking their progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with Professionals: Work closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided, including progress notes and IEP documentation.
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Missouri State SLP License: Hold a valid Missouri state SLP license or be eligible to obtain one.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be willing to obtain one.
- Experience in a School Setting: While experience in a school setting is beneficial, it is not required.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
