Wound Care Specialist Opportunity

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a skilled Wound Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will consult with patients to guide care and treatment of wounds, skin concerns, and ostomy. This per diem position will work in collaboration with Nursing Leadership and Clinical Education to support the wound care program, prevalence study, and education of clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with patients to develop and implement wound care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective wound care
  • Participate in wound care program development and education

Requirements
  • WA State RN license required
  • Bachelor's degree required; BSN and/or Master's degree preferred
  • Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) required
  • Hospital wound care experience preferred
  • Minimum of three years acute care nursing experience required
