Job Overview

Are you passionate about Snowsports and living for the winter season? Do you have a passion for teaching and sharing your knowledge with others? We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Ski/Snowboard Instructor to join our team at Chestnut Mountain Resort.


As a Ski/Snowboard Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching group, private, and Powder pup lessons to guests of all ages and skill levels. You will also attend clinics and trainings with resort trainers and PSIA/AASI certified staff to improve your skills and knowledge.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach skiing and snowboarding lessons to guests of all ages and skill levels.
  • Attend clinics and trainings to improve your skills and knowledge.
  • Foster a safe and fun learning environment for all guests.
  • Uphold Chestnut Mountain Resort values and represent the resort at all times.
  • Adhere to and teach the Skier/Rider responsibility code.

Requirements:

  • Excellent people skills and customer service.
  • Must own your own equipment or have the ability to acquire equipment by the first day of on-snow training.
  • Ski/ride competency (you do not necessarily have to be an expert; we will train frequently to build your on-snow skills).
  • Ability to work outside in the winter for several hours at a time.
  • Passion and a love for Snowsports and the outdoors.
