Job Title: Commercial Roofing Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to join our team at Ideal Building Solutions. As a key member of our Production Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of commercial roofing systems, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute roofing projects, including demolition and removal of existing roofing material, loading and unloading roofing material and equipment, and installing roofing insulation, substrate boards, cover boards, and membrane.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of roofing crews, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure that roofing systems meet our high standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including material inventory counts and crew performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to their satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the roofing industry, with a strong background in commercial roofing projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing roofing crews.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
