Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Early Learning Center Infant Teacher to join our team at Hope House Colorado. As an infant teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with each child and family through daily communication, ensuring a warm and supportive environment.
  • Provide Individualized Care: Provide consistent, nurturing, and responsive interactions with each child, using positive techniques to promote their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Plan Engaging Activities: Plan and implement daily activities based on each child's needs and interests, stimulating learning in all areas of child development.
  • Assess and Support: Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis, using the Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment tool, and share frequent updates with parents.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work in collaboration with the leadership team and early intervention professionals to provide parents with referrals to early intervention services when necessary.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with Colorado Department of Human Services Licensing Regulations and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Regulations that govern child care facilities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or early childhood special education, or a bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with at least 36 college credit hours in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Credentials: PDIS Level 3 Credential and Infant Nursery Supervisor Credential, or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Experience: Experience working with children ages infancy through five, including lesson planning.
