Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the estimating department, focusing on heavy civil operations, including roads, bridges, ports, runways, and airports.
  • Analyze and compile estimate data to ensure high-quality and timely estimates.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project site conditions to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Analyze alternative solutions and construction methods to increase competitiveness of bids.
  • Apply associated calculations and utilize estimating software to ensure accurate estimated costs.
  • Present estimates and participate in bid reviews with senior management.

Requirements:

  • Competent leadership ability and proficiency in estimating software, including ProEst and PrioSoft.
  • Background in heavy civils, preferably with experience working for a general contractor.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $140,000 - $170,000.
