Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead the development and implementation of progressive sourcing strategies for packaging materials. This role will be responsible for identifying and screening suppliers, developing strategic relationships, negotiating terms and conditions, and driving improved supplier service levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to deliver cost efficiencies, supply assurance, and quality in the procurement of packaging materials.
  • Lead the identification and screening of suppliers, and develop strategic relationships to drive improved supplier service levels.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and service levels.
  • Develop and manage procurement processes and programs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient use of knowledge, relationships, and investments.
  • Lead improvement activities to optimize product sourcing management, cost management, and problem resolution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management.
  • Progressive experience utilizing strategic sourcing methodology.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent PC skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • SAP experience is strongly preferred.
