Position Summary

We are currently in search of a dedicated CNC Machinist to contribute to our innovative manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ascertain product specifications and requirements.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery for precision machining tasks.
  • Adjust machine controls and modify tool settings to ensure compliance with specified tolerances.
  • Utilize precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to inspect and measure finished products, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Revise CNC programs as necessary to rectify errors or enhance production efficiency.
  • Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials for machining processes.
  • Monitor machine feed and speed during operations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
  • Document production metrics, including quantity, size, and type of machined products.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to comply with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and fellow machinists to optimize machining processes and elevate product quality.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a CNC machinist or completion of a vocational training program in CNC machining.
  • Proficient in operating CNC machinery and utilizing precision measurement tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
  • Attention to detail with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to pursue additional training and development opportunities.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards is advantageous.

Compensation: $24 - $30 per hour
