Job Summary:

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach studio art courses. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in the field or significant professional experience.

Responsibilities:

Teach courses in studio art, including drawing, 2D and 3D foundations, and art appreciation. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse students. Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with department colleagues to ensure a cohesive curriculum.

Requirements:

Master's degree in studio art or a related field. Significant professional experience in teaching or a related field may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience as a graduate teaching assistant may be acceptable. MFA degree with teaching experience is preferred.
