About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cryptographic Security Engineer to join our team at the Hispanic Technology Executive Council. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining key management systems that protect sensitive data within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in key management, cryptographic security, or a related field, with proficiency in key management systems and tools such as HSMs, KMS, and PKI. Strong understanding of cryptographic algorithms and protocols, as well as experience with security standards and frameworks, is also required.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure generation, storage, distribution, and rotation of cryptographic keys in compliance with NIST and industry standards. You will also assist with translating business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment in compliance with architecture standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing key management systems to protect sensitive data
  • Ensuring the secure generation, storage, distribution, and rotation of cryptographic keys
  • Assisting with translating business requirements into technical definitions and playbooks
  • Conducting on-site evaluations of third-party products being considered for firm adoption

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in key management, cryptographic security, or a related field
  • Proficiency in key management systems and tools such as HSMs, KMS, and PKI
  • Strong understanding of cryptographic algorithms and protocols
  • Experience with security standards and frameworks

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $153,700 per year

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan and offers competitive benefits, including paid time off and resources to support the employee's growth and success.
