We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist-PRN Specialist to join our team at Central Carolina Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to our patients, ensuring their safe and effective treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert pharmaceutical care to patients, including drug information, therapeutic drug monitoring, and pharmacokinetic dosing.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the healthcare team regarding drug therapy, advocating for safe medication use and aligning prescribing, dispensing, administration, and monitoring functions with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, promoting a culture of safety and quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice, applying evidence-based knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required; Master's or Doctoral degree preferred.
- NCBOP Pharmacist Licensure and BCLS certification required.
- Strong computer skills and excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Experience in hospital or similar pharmacy setting preferred.
