We are seeking a skilled Claims Associate to join our team at Sedgwick. As a Claims Associate, you will play a critical role in analyzing and processing Workers Compensation / Medical-Only claims on behalf of our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and process claims through well-developed action plans to ensure timely resolution.
- Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority.
- Communicate claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
- Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests in a professional and timely manner.
- 2+ years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
- Nevada Staff Adjusters License must be obtained within 3 months of hire if not currently obtained.
