Your Role

Stantec's transportation division is seeking a skilled Transportation Infrastructure Engineer to become a vital part of our team. You will engage with a comprehensive Stantec delivery group that is effectively providing high-quality plans for various stakeholders.

Your collaboration will extend to Stantec's team of Roadway Engineers, Structural Engineers, Traffic Engineers, Transportation Planners, and Environmental Scientists, working on a diverse array of transportation enhancement initiatives. The responsibilities of this role will be tailored to the specific skills and experiences of the selected candidate. You will assist in the design of numerous transportation projects, including intersections, roundabouts, arterial and interstate widenings, as well as bicycle and pedestrian initiatives.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Credentials

  • Expertise in Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads software
  • Ability to work collaboratively or independently with adaptability
  • Strong communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Eagerness to acquire new skills and collaborate with various project managers
Education and Experience

A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering is required. A minimum of four (4) years of experience in transportation infrastructure projects is preferred. An EIT or EI certification is mandatory, with the capability to obtain a PE license within one (1) year.
