Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cancer Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a thriving oncology service with multiple team members, including an oncology surgeon.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement oncology services with the goal of delivering top-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with our experienced team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to achieve shared goals.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in cancer treatment.
  • Work closely with referring veterinarians and clients to provide excellent patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited school of veterinary medicine or certification through ECFVG.
  • Ability to be licensed in the state of Oregon.
  • Current DACVIM (Oncology) board-certified or board eligible.
  • An understanding of and commitment to a client-centered practice.
  • A passion for providing exceptional care to animals with cancer.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive salary of $250,000 per year, relocation assistance, and a signing bonus of up to $100,000. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 403(b) plan, flexible spending account, paid parental leave, and more.
