Job Opportunity

Mastech Digital is seeking a skilled Cloud Administrator to join our team. As a Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the security and efficiency of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration and Governance: Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure, implementing best practices for access control and data protection.
  • System Administration: Manage and maintain our Linux and Windows server-based systems, including provisioning, deprovisioning, configuration, troubleshooting, and executing platform upgrades.
  • Cloud Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute successful patching of operating systems and installed applications, monitor and optimize cloud storage costs and efficiency.
  • Development and Engineering: Implement automation using PowerShell, YAML, JSON, Bash, or other tools to streamline operational processes, develop, deploy, and manage scalable and secure data pipelines according to Zero Trust principles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in managing compute environments, proficiency in Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server operating systems, and experience with IaaS/SaaS resources in a cloud environment.
