About the Role:

The Pharmacy Technician will play a vital role in supporting Pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescribed medications, providing patient care and education, and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove drugs from stock and count, pour, or mix pharmaceuticals
  • Affix labels to containers and package/repackage as needed
  • Verify insurance benefits and interact with patients and team members to develop positive relationships
  • Answer incoming and make outbound calls to patients, case managers, providers, and insurance companies
  • Coordinate prescription deliveries and proactively identify and analyze problems
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and adhere to company policies and standards
About You:

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in pharmacy operations and excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Active Pharmacy Technician License in the State of California
  • National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred (PTCB or NHA)
  • One or more years of related pharmacy experience
  • Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish required
  • Strong typing and data entry skills
  • Reliable mode of transportation to get to and from our Brea, CA pharmacy
