We are currently in search of a qualified candidate to assume the role of Product Owner for AMD Software Engagement. This position will integrate with the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.
Key Responsibilities- Review and comprehend Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms while providing essential guidance to the development team.
- Conduct technical briefings and offer advisement to leadership regarding project status, recommended actions, competing capabilities, performance metrics, risks, and implications for the IFMC mission.
- Possess a foundational understanding of Engagement Operations (EO) concepts, including engagement planning/scheduling, threat assessment, target selection, battlespace forecasting, and sensor resource management.
- Oversee the EO software development team, ensuring their output aligns with established acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate directly with Agile software developers to facilitate project objectives.
Familiarity with IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS, along with knowledge of current EO implementations across various DoD services, is advantageous. Previous experience as a Product Owner on a SCRUM team is also beneficial.
Additional Requirements- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
