Job Title: Air and Missile Defense Product Owner

Thompson Gray Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Air and Missile Defense Product Owner to join our team. As a key member of our Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office, you will be responsible for prioritizing and validating the development software for our Force Operations (FO) Software (SW) development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms to provide guidance to the development team.
  • Support the team in developing acceptance criteria for software updates and verify their implementation.
  • Work with Program management to set priorities for capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint.
  • Provide technical briefings, demonstrations, and advisement to leadership on the status of the project.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of defense design and capabilities in a large system, including resource laydown, plans and orders from higher echelon units, radar initialization parameters, defense plan evaluation, and user interfaces.
  • Ability to provide oversight to an FO SW development team and verify their work based on agreed-upon acceptance criteria.
  • Fluency in the Microsoft Office toolset.
  • US citizenship.
  • Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics.
  • Minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS.
  • Prior Product Owner of a SW development SCRUM team.

Security Requirements:

Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
