Job Summary

As a Body Repair Technician in our Fleet Solutions department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that vehicles are repaired to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with our Service Advisors to assess damage and develop a comprehensive repair plan, ensuring that all necessary repairs are identified and completed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify damage and develop a repair plan
  • Remove and replace damaged body panels, fenders, and grills, ensuring a precise fit and finish
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including welders, sanders, and spray guns
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces to a high shine
  • Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with our Paint Department to ensure a seamless repair process
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including washing and preparing vehicles for customer return
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in a body shop or related field
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
