Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting patients with breathing difficulties.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with breathing difficulties, including those with chronic respiratory diseases such as emphysema and asthma.
  • Provide emergency aid for breathing problems, heart attacks, drowning, and shock.
  • Work with patients of all ages, from infants with undeveloped lungs to adult patients with lung disease.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Oregon.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
